We celebrated NightBloom’s first featured artist – Ashley Lorraine (@sheshoots_) – by hosting her photographs at NightBloom and offering an exclusive print run of select photos available to purchase.

Ashley is a New Orleans-based photographer and a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana. JOIE represents her documentation of four years of levity and revelry of the @jdvsocialclub in New Orleans.

The JDV Social Club was founded in 2021 as an outlet to blend fashion, art and culture in an intergalactic costume experience rooted in bold creative self expression and extravagance. The artist’s interest in the emotional connection between her subjects and the present moment is what brings her photography to life – and fittingly, “joie de vivre” translates to the “exuberant enjoyment of life.”
